Giniu Gin

Gin description

Giniu is a project that lasted nearly four years from historical Sardinian Company Silvio Carta Srl with the intent to create a gin tied to Italian (Sardinian) territory. The raw materials for the production all come from the territory a few kilometers from the company. The botanists are juniper, leaves of myrtle, wild fennel, lemon peel, thyme, helichrysum and salvia desoleana, a plant endemic to the area. The colour is clear and transparent, while the nose has the characteristic aroma of gin, with strong references to the Mediterranean and to the typical aromatic herbs, along with feelings of plant and resin.
