At Kootenay Country Craft Distillery, we follow The 100-Mile Diet philosophy. From heirloom wheat to seasonal fruits and flowers, our goal is to acquire every ingredient we use from local organic sources in Kootenay Country — the Kootenay region of British Columbia. At times, this will not be possible: we do source small amounts of specialty ingredients and herbs from sources in other regions of British Columbia and North America. But we strive to operate our business in a very simple manner: knowing our suppliers, treasuring our organic farmers and sourcing from the closest possible place — it's our farm to bottle philosophy.
