Gin description

The idea for the Salt Gin was born on the North Sea island of Sylt and put into practice on the occasion of the summer festival of the Ferry House. The vision of Florian Rabanser was nothing less than to capture the wild charm and rugged beauty of the North Sea coast, its cool, salty breeze and the changing atmosphere of the intertidal zone in an unconventional top distillate. The classic gin approach was supplemented with typical herbs from the island, such as heather, sea fennel and rosehip. To bring the surprisingly tasty, aromatic salty note into the distillate, the gin was high-proof filtered over the shells of freshly opened Sylt royal oysters. Nordic-maritime with a touch of luxury, almost visionary, available only as a limited edition.
