The Distillery Celebrated Butter Gin - Distilled & Bottled On Portobello Road

Gin description

This unique gin, inspired by recipes from the past, was distilled downstairs in the Ginstitute in our little 30 litre still Copernicus III. We take the classic Portobello Gin, redistill it with English salted butter, then sweeten it with a little sugar and rest it in a barrel for a few days. This buttery and velvety gin is perfect for martinis and taking inspiration from Harry Johnson’s 1888 Bartender’s Manual we recommend stirring over ice with sweet Italian vermouth, orange curaçao, bitters, absinthe, cherry before straining into a martini glass.
