Avva Cask Finish is the first cask finish gin to be made on Speyside, the home and heartland of Scotch Malt Whisky. Gin Master Jill Brown spent 8 months creating this limited edition bottling. Matured in a bourbon barrel sourced from the renowned Speyside Cooperage, 6 months passed by before the marriage of favours and finish was just right. Presented at a strength of 55% abv, only 200 bottles of Cask Finish have been produced. Rich juniper notes in the nose, mixed with a gorgeous floral bouquet. But then comes vanilla butter cream and subtle spice. The palette is incredible smooth, Cask Finish glides across the palette, leaving a wonderful complex of flavours - juniper, floral and citrus notes from the 11 native botanicals, combined with vanilla and cream drawn from the bourbon cask, and a rich spiced finished. Like a good whisky, this gin has a long, warm and comforting finish. The fusion of flavours lingers long on the palette.
