Gin description
One man, one city, one gin - Bad Homburg gin with superfood aronia. Gin is on everyone's lips and the trendy drink of the hour. There are almost 5000 types of gin worldwide, only the city of Bad Homburg has not yet dedicated any of the juniper distillates. For this reason, Oliver Riemann, owner of “Oilea-culinary ideas”, has been working on a gin composition that does justice to the spa town for two years. Traditional on the one hand, young and fresh on the other - these attributes should also be reflected in the taste. The tradition is preserved by the production method: "London Dry Gin" that means: at least 3-fold distillation, vegetable and landscape raw materials such as grain or molasses and no added coloring or sugar. Even the best-known gin lover Queen Mum, the mother of Queen Elisabeth ll., Also preferred this type of the popular spirit. The Bad Homburg gin is young and fresh thanks to the multitude of extraordinary botanicals, i.e. fruits and herbs, which give the gin its character. Only organic ingredients are used for the Bad Homburg gin, which give off their aroma to the alcohol in the very complex maceration process. How exactly this happens is a well-kept trade secret. The result of the combination of ingredients and manufacturing process is a wonderfully soft and at the same time fruity gin, which is almost too good for tonic. The "aronia", also known as "chokeberry" and grown in Hesse, is pioneering here. The super fruit is not only very healthy but also incredibly aromatic. The production of Bad Homburg gin, from preparing the sut to filling the bottles, is a pure "one man show" by Oliver Riemann. Even the sequential numbering of the bottles with copper coins, which is attached to each bottle, is carried out by the Bad Homburg entrepreneur himself with sealing wire. When distilling the drink, however, Oliver Riemanm receives support from Karl Holger Höhler, the inventor of "Whesskey", the first Hessian whiskey, which is now known far beyond Hesse's borders. Anyone who would like a sample of Bad Homburg gin is cordially invited at any time to the Oilea business premises to get an idea of this extraordinary distillate.
