Glendalough Wild Blackberry & Mountain Heather Gin

Gin description

We make this Gin in August when the Wicklow hedgerows are full of blackberries, warm and ripened by the sun. The mountains around the distillery change colour from green to purple as the heather ripens, we pick the heather flowers when they are in full bloom and the pollen makes the mountain air smell like honey. We rest the wild blackberries and heather in our signature base gin. The natural sweetness of the fruit and the pollen make the gin just sweet enough, no sugar is added.
