Gin description

A limited-edition collaborative gin developed with Skosh, a Michelin awarded restaurant in York. Black cardamom, nori, mandarin and Szechuan peppercorn are beautifully layered to create a complex and full-bodied spirit. Soft juniper on the nose, with layers of fruity mandarin and Szechuan, salty sea spray and cooling menthol cardamom. On the palate, an initial burst of sweet mandarin is quickly replaced by a cooling hit of menthol cardamom and juniper that gives way to a warming spiciness, revealing rich anise, fruity pepper and a touch of savoury nori and dry smokiness. The spiciness develops to a delightful tingling sensation. Sweet mandarin balances a dry smokiness and creamy rich anise gives a long, lingering finish.
