It's just the four of us here at The Crosby Elixir Co. Husband & Wife and our two little terrors. Oh, and our ducks. We've been making our own concoctions and potions for years now and we wanted to share them with you and so in early 2016 the idea of the Crosby Elixir Co was born. Our first Elixir that we're sharing is our Gin. It's truly inspired by where we live. Coastal walks and hedgerows and what we find along the way. You probably know it as Bathtub gin, it's actually called Cold Compounding. The result is a bespoke gin that takes days to produce rather than the few hours commercial gins are produced in. Our gin is infused with our secret recipe of hand chosen botanicals including juniper, coriander, angelica root, marigold and red grapefruit. We painstakingly control the infusion process through a combination of experience, regular sampling and sleepless nights. The result is a bold, fragrant & fresh gin. We only make 18 bottles of our Elixirs at a time. This ultra small batch technique results in a truly unique taste. Our final spirit is bottled at 39.8% ABV and carries a beautiful natural amber hue from the compounding process.
