Unterthurner Classic Gin

Gin description

His fine palate and distinctive know-how, coupled with our love of experimentation: with cellar master Davide Casagranda, we dared to try something new and developed our first gin in 2016. The connection to our traditional fruit, the raspberry, could not be missing, of course. And it is Unterthurner's favorite fruit that makes our Classic Gin something very special: the aromas of raspberry and juniper unfold on the palate, with fruity-floral notes on the nose. As further botanicals we use organic lemon peel from Sicily, which gives the gin fine citrus notes, and iris blossom roots provide the slightly floral notes. Of course, juniper berries are also included, which we source from the Carso (karst mountains) around Trieste in Italy.
