The culmination of which is this exciting series of small-batch gins by Edinburgh Gin. Designed over several years and pusing boundaries in taste and innovation, these exciting gins come straight from our distillery to you. Edinburgh Gin Old Tom is a contemporary take on a centuries old gin style. The Old Toms of 200 years ago were distilled from a barley wine base, rather than neutral spirit, and were often stored in wooden barrels. Tonka beans, sarsaparilla root, macadamia nuts and meadowsweet give the gin notes of vanilla and almonds with a rich, nutty, bittersweet flavour. The post-distillation addition of agave syrup enhances the subtle sweetness and gives the gin a smooth and viscous mouthfeel.
