Gin description

When we were tasting and recipe for the Foerster`s Heide Gin, this recipe came into our hands. A very classic gin with "just" seven botanicals: juniper, angelica, lemon peel, ginger, cinnamon, coriander and wormwood. The proportion of juniper is already quite high and in addition, we have not filtered this gin. He is as elemental and straightforward as he is, in the bottle. We tried this gin for the first time as part of the Foerster's experiments. Everyone was thrilled with the straightforwardness and the aroma - but that did not quite fit with the coastal fir. But we did not want to let this ingenious recipe, which (and here it really is) almost unchanged from a recipe book of the last millennium, just go by. And so it came to us that we just burn it "for us for a few friends". We did that too. But we do not drink all that much then - so he came in the bottle and now also in our shop. "De" is Low German and is simply called "Der" - just "Der Gin". As elementary as the gin itself.
